Rock of Cashel
At the centre of a 50-60 km wide verdant meadow raises the limestone hill that forms the Rock of Cashel. This is a monument over both worldly and spiritual power. In ancient times Cashel was the seat of honour for the High Kings of Munster.Photo: Rock of Cashel. The Cathedral and The Round Tower. Click picture for enlargement.
