 God's Many Names
In Mitchellstown we stopped for a break. We visited the church. One man and one woman were preparing the Sunday Service. The woman asked us: "Will you stay for service?" We answered her "no" and then she asked us where we came from. My wife Pari spoke about her Iranian origin and the woman said with sympathy: "We too have religious conflicts, in Northern Ireland as you certainly know. Can you imagine such foolishness, to fight about religion? We all are going the same way anyhow." Kindness flowed from her and I sincerely wished we would have the time to stay for service on this place where people really allow God to have many names without making it a problem.
