Slea Head
 But the soft weather can chill you to the bone, so before we went down to the beach we refreshed ourselves with coffee and Irish Cream. We took the steep road down to the beach and ended up among black cliffs surrounded by dark green vegetation.Photo: Slea Head, Dingle Peninsula. Click picture for enlargement. The sharp cliffs defied the foaming waves beating the seashore. Some of the black rocks formed hollow caves. Light sand covered the small beach, which was squeezed in between the rocks. Far away on the Ocean I saw the silhouette of "the Dead Man", one of the Blasket Islands. The sound of the waves and the whining wind invited us to linger. An almost pleasurable sensation of coldness can make you lose yourself in redeeming thoughts.
