It
is not strange if you are pressed by anxious salesmen 
who
shout ever louder, trying to outdo each other. You have to be heard and
seen in the turmoil of the streets if you want to sell anything and survive.
Calling out the trade is very important in a world still formed by people's
inability to read and write. Signs and ads do not carry the same significance
as they do in our society.If
it is one of those days
when you are not in the mood for purchase it is better for you to have a
kind but firm lá shukran, no thanks, on your lips. The salesman
will then pass on, with a smile, to the next tourist. Whatever happens,
don't get irritated. It's not their fault that you are common prey.
