Map of Cyprus

No Law of Nature

The people of Cyprus, both Turk- and Greek Cypriot, lose on the partitionFamagusta of the island. Humans don't gain anything from looking upon their neighbours as enemies, but the politicalFamagusta and economical superpowers do. And the rulers use nationalism as a force to add fuel to the hatred between people. Nationalism is no law of nature. It is just a mind construction, a human device and a way of looking at the world. Nationalism in its extreme consequence leads to glorifying your own people. And then ultimately you consider other people as inferior.
