Masjid rectangle,
surrounding an open inner court. The building has two gates, which makes
it unique compared to the inns of Anatolia. The gates were closed during
night time and were not opened until the travellers had checked their luggage
in the morning to ensure that nothing had been stolen. At the centre of the
inner court stands an octahedral mosque with
a dome roof, with a well intended for religious washing. The Turkish designation
is masjid. |
