and pubs in Varosha. The war in 1974 smashed the tourist business in
Famagusta. The world has developed the economical and political relations
to the Greek Cypriot part of the island. At the same time tourist
agencies have boycotted North Cyprus that stays in the shade as a rejected
relative who has broken a strong taboo. |
